Ameredev Operating, LLC
often known simply as Ameredev—was a leading Austin-based independent oil and gas exploration and production company, specializing in the core of the Delaware Basin within the Permian. At its peak, Ameredev managed a highly contiguous footprint of over thirty-three thousand net acres, delivering strong output—around twenty-five thousand to twenty-six thousand (25,000 – 60,000) barrels of oil equivalent per day, with roughly sixty-five percent (65%) oil—making it one of the most prominent private operators in the region.
In June 2024, Matador Resources announced a strategic acquisition of Ameredev’s assets for approximately one point nine billion dollars 1.8 Billion USD (closing at one point eight three billion after adjustments), folding in those high-quality producing properties, reserves, and midstream interests like a stake in Piñon Midstream. This deal solidified Matador’s dominance in the Delaware while marking the end of Ameredev’s standalone era—though its legacy of disciplined development and sour-gas expertise lives on in the integrated operations today.
Private Decontamination Program: Ameredev Amen Corner Pilot (June 2022)
In partnership with Ameredev Operating, LLC, we executed a confidential chemical pilot at their Amen Corner Facility in the Delaware Basin to treat high-H₂S produced water streams. Alexandros supplied specialized injection gear, line taps, and our proprietary biocide/neutralizer—applied via drip and batch methods under strict safety protocols (oxygen testing, leak checks, 5-min initial sampling, then 30-min intervals). The multi-day trial isolated production, minimized exposure, and included full briefings to ops leads like Luis Molina and Hansley Persad. No disruptions to trucking or ongoing work.
Alexandros Overview
Alexandros Inc. is a leader in advanced decontamination and clean energy solutions for the oil & gas sector. We specialize in neutralizing hazardous contaminants—like H₂S, bacteria, biofilms, sulfur, and CO₂—without heat, dissolution, or masking agents. Our water-soluble, EPA-approved formulas deliver 99.99 log kill on pathogens, maintain neutral pH for safety, and enhance fluid quality (e.g., boosting API gravity). We’re committed to sustainable, profitable operations that reduce HAZMAT risks, equipment corrosion, and disposal costs—making sour production viable and eco-friendly.
Pilot Results
Sampling showed rapid H₂S neutralization—dropping levels effectively within hours, with sustained control over bacteria/biofilms (no regrowth observed). Post-treatment water met safer disposal specs; equipment showed zero corrosion; and chemical usage stayed low thanks to targeted stripping (not scavenging). Results validated our formula’s superiority: 99.99% pathogen kill vs. bleach’s 99.9%, no resistance buildup after extended use, and full inerting of H₂S at source. Data logs confirmed normalized production rates and zero spills—proving scalability for permanent rollout.
